Arandas Taqueria in Slaton, Texas

Arandas Taqueria is a franchise though we have not included it with the other franchises in Slaton as it is not as familiar to many as say Pizza Hut or MacDonald, plus it’s a more regional franchise with a very nice background story. It began with a very poor Mexican family who later became US citizens but struggled considerably to put their first restaurant in Houston. Since then, particularly through family members, it spread through Houston and now much of the state, including Slaton and Lubbock. Its popularity in Slaton is evident by the crowds that pack this location.

Arandas Taqueria offers a full line of traditional Tex-Mex including breakfast, appetizers, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, as well as steaks and fajitas, grilled items and they even have a kids menu, all at reasonable prices.
